Win the Bingo Loonie Pot!
In 2009 the Victoria Hospital’s Foundation presented weekly Radio Bingo to raise funds for various new medical equipment items. Thus far, the hospital, located in Prince Albert, has paid out in excess of $275, 000 to lucky Radio Bingo Winners.
The Mission
Prince Albert is home to the Victoria Hospital and provides medical services for people in the community. In order to maintain updated equipment the hospital’s Foundation launched ‘Radio Bingo’, a weekly bingo game that offers phenomenal cash prizes for players and raises the money needed to purchase new equipment for the hospital that will benefit everyone in the community. The bingo game launched in 2009 and has been a success – to the tune of prizes out at a grand total of more than $275,000. The benefit of the ‘Radio Bingo’ fundraising is that the hospital can provide better services to members of the community with new and updated equipment. The fundraising program makes it possible when annual budgetary limitations may not allow for the acquisition of various desired instruments and equipment. The Foundation comes through with the proceeds to make it a reality.
Fantastic Prizes
The Foundation has bestowed $278, 556.67 in Radio Bingo prizes to numerous lucky winners. The winning jackpots are not the only attractive fact about Radio Bingo – as the weekly game has allowed the hospital to utilize proceeds from the fundraising event to purchase much needed medical equipment for the hospital. Not only is the weekly opportunity to win prizes very exciting for players, but the monies raised have enabled the hospital to acquire the medical equipment that may not have been possible within the annual budget. Minimum prize amount is $20 and ranges all the way up to the ‘Loonie Pot’ prize of $10,000! To date, 18 fortunate bingo players have claimed a ‘Loonie Pot’ prize!
