From the time of MySpace, then MindJolt and now SGN, also known as Social Gaming Network, there have many social network games created with the intent to push the bar a little further. Since SGN has been purchased by MindJolt, this has never been clearer as the new SGN is attempting to turn itself into a multiple platform game company. Colin Digiaro, co-founder of MySpace and SGN COO, says that MindJolt has developed games for many different platforms and is working on becoming a multi-platform publisher and developer. Digiaro also says it is more important to focus on multiple platforms rather than becoming too involved in a single platform.
Release of SGN’s Bingo Game
SGN has adopted a strategy that is used by many of its competitors and that is the why SGN is releasing a mobile version of its casino-style bingo game on iOS devices. Digiaro says that they understand which casual games work best and the release of SGN’s bingo game is the latest venture into casual gaming. Digiaro also says that casual games are extremely popular and bingo fits perfect into the casual game category.
Bingo: The Ultimate Casual Game
Multi-platform games are an important focus of SGN but this company also focuses on what games will be most popular for each platform. SGN offers casino and casual games on nearly all platforms, because these games seem to be popular no matter what platform is used – especially bingo. SGN will also continue to offer time management games on iOS devices. Digiaro says that the inspiration for a casino-style, casual bingo game came from other bingo games that were already available. Digiaro stated that this was a logical template to create their own bingo game and the company could not be more excited to see how the game performs. SGN’s game is set to be released to iOS devices around the world by the end of the month.
