Reading Bingo for Kids
One of the most remarkable programs that will be offered this summer by the Bedford Library is the children’s reading program. The program is designed to encourage kids to continue reading regularly – for enjoyment as well as educational continuity. Each child that participates will receive a Bingo card and a square will marked off for each book that is read during July and August. For each row that is filled-in on the Bingo card the child may select a free book of choice from the Children’s Book Sale Nook. The book sale nook is made possible for local children through the ‘Friends of the Bedford Library’. Each child can receive up to five free book coupons and will also be recognized for reading excellence with an end of the summer reading certificate.
