Bingo Hall Helps Raise Money for Venice Circus Arena

The Venice Circus Arts Foundation is asking bingo halls to host a fundraising event. King Solomon’s Treasures is holding a bingo event with a circus theme to raise money for the foundation. There will be cash prizes, a chance to win a jackpot, and concessions at the event.

The Circus Bingo Event

The Venice Circus Arts Foundations is searching for bingo players to help to raise money for repairs of the Venice Circus Arena. The Circus Bingo events take place at King Solomon’s Treasures in Venice. This event will have circus features like circus popcorn, decorations, and equipment. The winners will receive real money prizes and the chance to win a jackpot. The bingo players who attend these events believe it is a worthy cause. The money made from the bingo ticket and concession stand sales will be donated to the foundation’s fund. King Solomon’s Treasures will donate prizes and money for the 50/50 raffle drawing.

The Venice Circus Arena

The money from these events will be used for repairs and restoration of the arena which hosted the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus from the years 1960 to 1992. This is a historic site in Venice and is also the biggest arena in Sarasota County. This building holds approximately 4,500 occupants, which is about 2.5 times more than the Sarasota arena, Van Wezel. The restored arena will be used for concerts, future circuses, and other large events. The restoration of the arena has been going on for two years. The executive of the foundation says that 80% of the arena can be used, with about 20% still needing repairs. The executive wants the Circus Bingo events to inform the community that the building still needs help from the people of Venice to be restored as fully functional.
